Steve Greer's Award Winning photography
In 2006 Steve won first place in the National Wildlife Photography Awards with
the photo "Ancient Migrations". The contest was sponsored by the National Wildlife
Federation in partnership with Nature's Best Photography magazine.

Nearly 12,000 images were submitted to the contest and Steve's photo
won the Pro Division "Other Wildlife category".
To help celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the National Wildlife Federation, Nature's Best Photography magazine will be publishing a selection of the winning images in the Winter 2007 Special Edition.
Steve's image will also be exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum
of Natural History in Washington DC, beginning on November 10, 2006, and
will remain on display through March 2007.
Additionally, Steve won the Grand Prize and First Place Awards
at the prestigious National Wildlife Annual Photography Competition
for four consecutive years.
His artistic expression is the fruit of an intimate encounter
with the natural world, where walking humbly amidst its spaces
offer visual gifts to the keen observer. |
